What is osteonecrosis of the jaw?
No swelling
Usually without any pain or swelling thanks to the surgical protocol and the accompanying medical treatment.
Only one session
Thanks to our ALL IN ONE CONCEPT, all treatments are performed in just a single session, meaning less stress for you and your immune system.
100% metal-free
It is not only our implants that are entirely ceramic; all the tools used for the insertion process are 100% ceramic, too.
Ischemic osteonecrosis and wisdom teeth
At present, there is not yet any non-invasive or partially invasive treatment available that can fully cure ischemic osteonecrosis. Only minimally invasive, atraumatic yet radical surgical removal of the NICO according to the SWISS BIOHEALTH CONCEPT can bring complete healing to the area. The associated symptoms and diseases, such as nerve pain, facial pain, rheumatism, or Lyme disease, can be reduced or even completely eliminated using our concept
The treatment of osteonecrosis of the jaw is part of the second step of dental rehabilitation and the SWISS BIOHEALTH ALL IN ONE CONCEPT.
To diagnose osteonecrosis, we first take a 3D X-ray (DVT). From four weeks before the procedure, you should take the BOOST nutritional supplement.
The osteonecroses are then removed quadrant by quadrant in ALL-IN-ONE surgery. This takes about 30 minutes per region.
After the procedure, we recommend taking the BOOST supplement again for four weeks. This promotes the healing process and stabilizes your immune system.
Many of our patients have experience with the diagnosis of jaw osteitis. Read more about them in our testimonials.
FAQ
How can maxillary osteitis be diagnosed?
Are NICO's associated with breast cancer?
The inflammatory mediators RANTES and FGF-2 are significantly elevated in osteomyelitis of the jaw. These two mediators are also found in the tissues of breast cancer and other serious diseases such as ALS, MS, or rheumatoid arthritis. NICO's are thus considered to be a major cause of autoimmune diseases through the production of RANTES and FGF-2.
